Transferring what is needed

Three Quick Ways:

To move your content to a PC using the Smart Switch, you will need:

1) A handheld Samsung smartphone with version 4.3 or later of AndroidTM OS

2) An old computer that meets one of the specifications below:
A Samsung smartphone with version 4.3 or later of Android
Apple ® iPhone ® with version 5 of iOS or later

3) A forum for Windows ® with the following minimum requirements:
• Operating System : Windows 7 or higher
• CPU: Pentium 4; 2.4 GHz or 2.4 GHz.
RAM: 512 MB or greater1024 x 768 (600), 32 bit or higher screen resolution
• Software required: version 11 or later of Windows Media Player

FOR MAC

To use the Smart Switch for Mac to migrate information, you will need:

1) A mobile device from Samsung with Android OS version 4.3 or later

2) An old computer that meets one of the specifications below:

A Samsung smartphone with version 4.3 or later of Android
Apple iPhone edition 4.2.1 or later with iOS
3) A Mac platform with the minimum specifications below:
Operating System: 10.9 or later on Mac OS X ®
CPU: 2.0 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo or later

  • Android file transfer application installed on your computer
